Urgent calls first.
Everything else on record.

Practical AI for plumbers and plumbing companies where the urgent call and the paperwork compete for the same person.

A good fit when…

Plumbing work is a mix of emergencies and planned jobs. The office needs to recognize the burst pipe immediately and still keep the water heater quote, the membership renewal, and the review request moving. Automation should sort and connect that work, not replace the judgment of the person answering the phone.

Emergencies and routine calls arrive on the same line
A flooded kitchen and a dripping faucet reach the same dispatcher. Without triage, urgent work waits behind routine questions and details are lost in the rush.
Quotes for larger jobs stall
Water heater replacements, repipes, and sewer line work are decisions customers postpone. A quote without a follow up plan becomes a lost job.
Reviews and memberships depend on remembering
Review requests, membership renewals, and annual inspections happen when someone has time, which is rarely during a busy week.

What we can build.

Emergency triage and enquiry intake
Identify urgency from the caller’s description, capture the address and access details, alert the right person immediately, and record routine requests with everything the office needs to schedule them.
Quote follow up for larger jobs
Turn a sent quote into a follow up sequence built from the actual line items, with reminders that stop when the customer replies and a handoff to a person for questions about financing or options.
Memberships, inspections, and review requests
Read the job record after completion, send a review request at the right moment, and schedule membership renewals and annual inspections from the dates already in your system.
Connected job records
Keep the customer, the property, the fixture history, and the invoices attached as work moves between your website, your CRM, and your field service software.

How the work takes shape.

  1. 01Follow an emergency and a planned job

We trace one urgent call and one quoted job from first contact to payment, noting where information is retyped or waits for a decision.

  2. 02Assess the native features first

Field service platforms include reminders, review requests, and some AI answering. We use what fits and build the connections and logic they do not provide.

  3. 03Deliver one bounded improvement

A first version with one owner in the office and a measurable result, reviewed with the people who answer the phone before anything expands.

A typical engagement, adapted to the process and its constraints.

A useful starting point.

Bring a busy week of calls, a few recent quotes for larger jobs, and the names of the tools your office uses. That is enough to identify a bounded starting point.

I work remotely with companies in the United States and worldwide. You work directly with me on the scope, the implementation, and the handoff, and we agree working hours and any ongoing support for the engagement.

The build cost depends on the systems involved, the quality of the information in them, and the review your office needs. Any estimate of value should include staff review time, tool subscriptions, and maintenance. Recovered hours are not automatically a cash saving.

This page describes a proposed application of home service work I have implemented. It is not a claim of past delivery for a plumbing company and not a certification by any field service platform. We check your actual account, integrations, and permissions before deciding what to build.

Before we begin.

Can automation tell an emergency from a routine call?

It can sort by the words a caller uses and the questions it asks, and it can alert a person immediately when the description sounds urgent. The final judgment stays with your dispatcher, and the system should make that handoff fast rather than hide it.

How do quote follow ups work without sounding automated?

Messages are drafted from the actual quote and the customer’s situation, sent on an agreed schedule, and stopped the moment the customer answers or books. Questions about financing or alternatives go to a person.

Can we send review requests automatically?

Yes, from the completed job record and at an agreed moment after the visit. We respect opt outs and platform rules, and a person can exclude a job where a request would be inappropriate.

Do we need to change our software?

Usually not. The first step is understanding what your current tools already do. The useful change is often an integration, a configuration, or a small application around them.
